International Angels: Los Angeles Internacionales

¡Bienvenidos a los angeles del rio Rogue! ¡Es hora a hablar en Español!

In light of the Mexico trip coming up for Kate, here are some helpful Spanish words to know before embarking on a fishing journey in a Spanish-speaking country. There is so much more if you just ask me, but here are just a few for today.

caña=rod/fishing rod
caña=in Spain if you wanted a small "cane" of beer, which amounts to about 8-9 oz, you would say "yo quiero una caña de cerveza". Which leads me to my next word...
jarra=pronounced "harrrra". Remember to roll the r's. This is a big glass of beer. "Yo quiero una jarra de cerveza". I used this in Spain, I am not sure if they use it in other parts of the world.
sin hielos= without ice. This is important if you are going somewhere with the drinking water quality is questionable.

Let's get back on track shall we?

río=river
océano=
ocean
agua
=water
olas=waves
mosca
=fly
pescar con mosca=flyfishing
bote=boat
pez=fish (singular)
peces=fish (plural)
pescado=dead fish (for eating). "Me gusta comer pescado" = I like to eat fish.
