
Day One: The Opener.
Naknek River. Alaska.
12:01 am- Finish switching over the saltwater lines for our spey lines...quickly jump in bed.
4:00 am- Climb out of bed.
5:00 am- Launch boat.
5:30 am- Remember how to spey cast.
5:45 am- Remember how to hook set for a trout.
5:49 am- Landing bow bow.
6:01 am-3:00 pm- Spey Casting, Hooking up, Wading, Freezing.
4 pm- Naptime
5 pm- Fresh Alaskan halibut courtesy of the new Lodge chefs, Amy and KJ.
Now- So stoked about the next 5 months.
