This made it into the Best of Alaska iphone pics list for one reason: He deserved this fish. So many times I've thought someone with me (or selfishly sometimes, myself) really deserves a fish. Maybe we put in our time, stood in the cold miserable rain, or perfectly worked the fishiest water. Turns out, most of the time what I think amounts to shit on the meter. But this day, this time, this fish rose up and ate. Oh, and it was the first sunny day in months.
